Picaresque

Picaresque is the adjective to describe writings about a common or low character who survives the pitfalls of life through luck or good fortune. My travels, interests, my animals, my photographs, my wonderful friends and family are featured.

(Note: Blogs read from bottom to top; scroll down for beginnings, scroll up for most current.) After 30 years in public administration and four degrees, as well as numerous workshops with luminaries in Education and Public Policy, life in a slower lane became a goal. Most recently I have done policy writing and consulting for the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone Tribes. Mostly, I am just coasting slowly and gently downhill these days-seeking joy where I can find it before the glorious ride ends.

Mona Vie, Joie de Vivre

Matt blow dries his Harley, prepping to take it to Grant's Pass to review a venue for his security business. He hadn't had it on the road for awhile so he was looking forward to the ride. Given the price of gas he might want to use it more.
The week was interspersed with Mona Vie meetings and parties. This health juice is marketed by Matt and his crew- one new recruit is Eve's neighbor Ben who is a go-getter with lots of contacts due to his main line of work. Ben had a party and we had them for an impromptu party. Ben and Tina have toddlers: Anna and Noah who are cute company for Audrey. The testimonials for Mona Vie are pretty impressive. One of their clients has Multiple Sclerosis and swears by it. It sells itself when people try it. Ben's party featured some Mona Vie and vodka which is not exactly the form the company pushes but was popular.
Audrey and Anna share grapes.
