Picaresque

Picaresque is the adjective to describe writings about a common or low character who survives the pitfalls of life through luck or good fortune. My travels, interests, my animals, my photographs, my wonderful friends and family are featured.

(Note: Blogs read from bottom to top; scroll down for beginnings, scroll up for most current.) After 30 years in public administration and four degrees, as well as numerous workshops with luminaries in Education and Public Policy, life in a slower lane became a goal. Most recently I have done policy writing and consulting for the Northern Arapaho and Eastern Shoshone Tribes. Mostly, I am just coasting slowly and gently downhill these days-seeking joy where I can find it before the glorious ride ends.

Three Dog Days and Nights: Picaresque Adventures

This Blog documents the adventures of Stephen, the biped and Goody, a quadruped, and Buster, temporary tri-ped as we traverse the nation in our well-maintained 1992, Winnebago mobile office the "Fair Elante." We will ply vocations and avocations. Stephen as Consultant and Photographer and tech aficionado will seek writing and photography opportunities. Past travels have taught that adventures just happen to us be they little ones or big ones. This will also serve as a way of sharing experiences and reassuring our readers and clients, invited and accidental, that we are still mobiling, alive and well. Our notes will serve as reminders for the articles we hope to sell on technology and travel.
